Last week, I married an amazing man who shows me, everyday, what I’d been missing in my first marriage. Sure, if I had it my way, I would have only had one husband my whole life.
However, sometimes, it is the darkness before the dawn that makes you appreciate the light.
After the hell I’ve been through, I appreciate his kindness and quiet strength. He does not boast or flex his brawn. He is composed and careful. He is strong enough to understand my strength and not be threatened by it. He does not recent my power, but learns from it. He is not resentful of my accomplishments and doesn’t try to compete.
He is secure.
So, here I am. Happy and worthy.
Oh, and to my ex-husband, bbbbahahahahahhahahahahhahaha!
